Exposed is a personal story of my transgender experience told through art. The works depict the complex quest for identity and acceptance. The exhibition highlights how gender perception translates into images and materials: how internal experiences, dissonant feelings, and transformation are given tangible form in art. At a time when being transgender is often reduced to a social debate or political issue, I want to take back control with my exhibition and show the person behind the label. Exposed challenges us to look further.
