I am part of The Coffin Project, an interdisciplinary art project by Greek-Dutch artist Athanasia-Iris, premiering at Spoorpark Tilburg from September 4 to 6. The project brings together sculpture, performance, sound, and video in and around a transparent coffin-shaped installation filled with soil, cactuses, plastic, metals, and the sculptural element Pulse. The work explores the fragile relationship between nature and human intervention, and the systems we create to control, protect, or exploit our environment. It reflects on mortality, alienation, transformation, and the traces we leave behind. The Coffin Project is realized in collaboration with an international team of makers from various disciplines As a performer, I activate the installation through live presence and movement, becoming part of the tension between the human body, the constructed space, and the natural elements within the work.
